Linka from the old cartoon Captain Planet and the Planeteers, my favorite tv show as a kid.
I always thought the planeteers should make more use of their rings rather than calling on the mulleted man himself. For example here Linka is hovering herself with her wind powers like Storm from the X-Men can do. Why not?

Watching this again after so much time, I was actually shocked how much they really did just rely on cap himself. I mean.....they used powers here and there.....but they just summoned someone else to do everything.
